stETH and wstETH
stETH is Lido's staking token: the balance grows daily with Ethereum rewards. wstETH is the wrapped version: the balance stays fixed and each token gains value against ETH, which makes it easier to use in DeFi.
LPulse recognizes both and adds the position to your liquid staking portfolio, next to rETH, weETH and Solana LSTs.
Risks
Smart contract risk, stETH trading at a discount to ETH during market stress, and validator penalties. Yield varies with network activity.
Frequently asked questions
+How does LPulse compute stETH and wstETH yield?
By reading the Lido contract's ETH-per-token ratio at the block of each entry into your wallet and comparing it with today's ratio. It covers positions on Ethereum mainnet.
+Does stETH used as collateral show up in LPulse?
Yes. If wstETH is deposited on Aave v3, it shows up in the lending position with health factor and liquidation price.
+What is the difference between stETH and wstETH?
stETH's balance grows with rewards; wstETH's balance is fixed and each token gains value. The yield is the same.
+Do I need to connect my wallet?
No. Just enter your public address in the LPulse Monitor.
